My Big Idea for a small device containing a gas cylinder and a balloon that can be attached to any swimming costume.
If a person gets into trouble when in the water, they simply pull the ring on the device, and the balloon with the word 'HELP' on it will automatically inflate, keeping them afloat. It is called 'YOUR LOB' meaning 'Your Life on Bag' (patent applied for) Cost to make around 95p in materials.
The market - all swimmers, mothers who will attach it to costumes, makers of swimming costumes, all leaders / teachers taking young people near water, placed in fishermen's tackle boxes, walkers.
Most people will not wear a life jacket because of the restriction of movement and costs, so this device will help save lives by being more acceptable to wear and cheaper. It can be colour coded to match swimwear. |
